Did you get your ECO month?

ECO Month: I hope that you had the opportunity to participate in at least one of the eco-month events that were brought to you by our friends from the Committee on the Environment (COTE). Thank you to the Committee members led by Luis Peris, AIA, AIA Arizona staff and our members that participated in this fun and meaningful event series!

Media Day: Several of our members had the opportunity to participate under the lights and in front of the camera for media training that included interviews by mock reporters. A special thank you goes out to Robert Goldstein for providing the lights and cameras and to SmithGroupDLR Group and AIA Arizona for contributing staff members that coached us through the training.

State Conference:  Over that last couple of weeks the State Board has solicited interest from the membership in the planning of this year’s conference to be held on Thursday, August 19th at the Sheraton Hotel Wild Horse Pass. The Committee, led by Joe Worall AIA, should be able to share the concept with membership soon.

What can your AIA do for you?  Join in and DISCOVER!

2010 AIA Arizona President
