AIA Grand Canyon Chapter Meeting – On Friday, April 9th, 2010, The Woodwork Institute will present a lunch and learn about the New American Woodworking Standards. After lunch we will tour the site of a shipping container house being built in downtown Flagstaff. Meet at Noon at the  mezzanine. The tour will begin at 1:30pm.

AIA SAC Slide Slam – Join AIA Southern Arizona for their third Slide Slam featuring artists and architects as they take 15 minutes a piece to showcase their work. Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 6pm at the Barrio Brewery. This is a FREE event.

Phoenix Metro Volleyball – The AIA Arizona Phoenix Metro Affiliates are again sponsoring the Annual Desert Classic Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Scottsdale Ranch Park. Getty Sketchbooks at ASU – ASU Gallery of Design until Friday, March 26, 2010. This exhibition presents reproductions of 200 sketches and drawings that were produced by the six architects that were invited to compete for the commission of the Getty Villa project in 1993.
