Did you know that the public can search for an Architect and/or Affiliate on our website?

Last year, we launched our Architect Finder and Affiliate Finder search engines. Every member receives a free basic listing. If you don’t see your company on our website, that means you have not filled out the form. Click here for the Architect Finder Form. Click here for the Affiliate Finder Form. You must be an AIA Arizona member to be included in the search engine. Please send all forms to Alexandra Evjen(Note: this is separate from the hard copy directory and AIA National’s Architect Finder).

Also, please take the time to make sure that your information is up to date. All changes and corrections can be sent to Alexandra Evjen. This includes additional areas of specialization, web links and logos.

Call for Volunteers – Interested in smart city planning? Want to have an impact on the development of Phoenix? The City of Phoenix has two interesting planning efforts currently underway to which they would like to solicit professional feedback from members of the AIA. The Planning Department is working on developing Transit Oriented Development place-types for the light rail corridor, as well as a reorganization of their General Plan effort. Both efforts provide an opportunity for AIA architects to directly participate in the processes that will ultimately shape our city. If you are interested in either of these efforts and would like to serve on an AIA ad-hoc review committee, please contact Diana Smith.
